ECO Funnel™ Safety Features

See the safety features that help prevent fires and spills in the laboratory. Made of HDPE and manufactured to make waste disposal simple and safe. Learn why each feature is included in our design.

1. Gasket in the lid prevents 99.9% of emissions from escaping. This breaks the fire triangle by removing the fuel component. If a spark does occur near the closed ECO Funnel™ a fire will not start.
2. Variety of screw cap sizes are availbe to fit standard lab waste containers.
3. Filter separates large particles and stir bars.
4. The latching air-tight lid prevents fumes from escaping.
5. A small tube to help prevent over-filling. This creates an air gap in the waste bottle and solvent that backs up into the funnel can drain into the gap when the funnel is removed, reducing the threat of a spill.
