HPLC Waste Lines for the Lab - ECO Funnel™

HPLC ECO Funnels™ are equipped with an HPLC fitting located on the side of the funnel, allowing the operator to connect an HPLC waste line directly to the closed funnel. Up to 6 HPLC adapters can be added to your 4” ECO Funnel™ and up to 8 on your 8” ECO Funnel™.

Vent filters will minimize the air pressure that may build inside the funnel. The vent filter acts as a pressure release valve. If pressure builds up, the solvent will escape. At atmospheric pressure, we do not expect much evaporation due to the semi-permeable membrane made of glass micro fiber. (See upper far right picture.)

CP Lab Safety recommends adding one vent filter for every one to two HPLC lines that attach to your ECO Funnel™. Vent filters act as a pressure relief valve and will minimize any pressure that builds inside the ECO Funnel™.

No hanging or dangling waste line in a bottle. No tin-foil or parafilm to try to stop evaporation. No surprise over filling or spilling of the waste.
